Choosing the right childcare is an important decision. Below are answers to some of the most common questions families ask about our daycare program. If you need more information, we’re always happy to connect.

About Our Program

  • We care for children from 6 weeks through 12 years, including NM PreK classrooms.

  • Our regular hours are Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM, excluding holidays.

  • We have two locations serving Los Lunas and Peralta, New Mexico. Please contact us for directions or to schedule a tour.

Enrollment & Tuition

  • You may begin enrollment by contacting our office or stopping by to pick up an enrollment packet. Tours are encouraged.

  • Yes. Some age groups may have a waitlist depending on availability, classroom openings, and licensing ratios.

  • For self-pay families, there is an annual registration fee of $35 per child or $70 per family.

    • Completed enrollment packet

    • Child Care Assistance contract or registration fee


    For NM PreK, the above items are required plus:

    • Wellness form

    • Dental form

    • Hearing and vision screening forms

  • Yes! We proudly offer New Mexico PreK for eligible children.

  • Yes, we accept Child Care Assistance through the State of New Mexico for qualifying families.

Health & Safety

  • Yes. All staff maintain current CPR and First Aid certification and complete ongoing training required.

  • We follow all state licensing, health, and safety regulations, including illness guidelines, cleaning procedures, and supervision requirements.

  • Families will be contacted immediately. Children must be picked up if symptoms meet our illness exclusion policy. A doctor’s note may be required before returning.

Curriculum & Daily Care

    • NM PreK classrooms use the Frog Street Curriculum, aligned with New Mexico PreK standards.

    • Infant, toddler, and childcare classrooms follow the New Mexico Early Learning Guidelines and are based on children’s interests, culture, and developmental needs through play-based learning.

  • Yes. We participate in the CACFP food program and provide nutritious meals and snacks daily:

    • Breakfast: 8:00 AM

    • Snack: 10:00 AM

    • Lunch: 12:00 PM

    • Snack: 3:00 PM

    Outside food is not permitted unless a doctor’s note is provided.

  • Items vary by age but may include:

    • Labeled water bottle

    • Extra clothes

    • Diapers/pull-ups (if applicable)

    Teachers will provide classroom-specific guidance.

Communication & Policies

  • Our main form of communication is the Procare app. We also communicate through in-person updates, texts, and phone calls as needed.

  • Yes! Families are always welcome. Please check in at the front office upon arrival.

  • Our Parent Handbook and policies are available through the office and upon enrollment.

Tours & Activities

  • Yes! Tours are available by appointment.

    • School-age children participate in field trips during school breaks. Additional costs may apply.

    • NM PreK classrooms often go on outings free of charge.
